Puja's Morning and Night Skincare Routine

Hello everyone! I've had a few people ask me about my skincare routine, so I decided to share both my morning and night routines!

Before I get started with that, I want to let you all know the skin type I have. I have mostly dry and sensitive skin, so I have to be careful about what I put on my face. It took me a while to find products that work for my skin, and it was a long process.

Keep in mind that our skin is always changing. For example, when I was in high school, I barely ever got pimples. I would literally go to sleep with makeup on my face and not have any acne. On the other hand, when I started going to college which was about two years ago, I started breaking out due to stress and just worrying about exams. When my skin started breaking out, I quickly got into skincare. I never realized how essential skincare can be and honestly, in my opinion, it’s the most self care love you can give yourself!

The most natural way to help your skin is to drink water, and I sometimes forget to drink the amount of water I should in a day. This may sound silly. However, I set reminders to drink water because it helps you in so many different ways. There are apps to remind you to drink water too! You should have a clear water bottle in your sight/reach at all times to remind you to stay hydrated.

My Four Step Morning Routine:

Step One:

Wash my face with Kiehls’ Blue Herbal Blemish Cleanser Treatment. This cleanser, is known for helping acne. It helps to target the unwanted textures, acne, whiteheads, blackheads, and also minimizes pores.

Step Two:

The next product I use is Olehenriksen’s Banana Bright Eye Creme. This helps with dryness and dark circles.

Step Four:

I go in with Supergoop! Everyday Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50. Sunscreen is an essential to put on your face because even when the sun isn’t out it is still there and can create dark spots.

Step Five:

Lastly I apply Cetaphil’s Moisturizing Lotion. This moisturizer is very gentle, also a lightweight. It keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day!

My Four Step Night Time Routine:

Step One:

Step Two:

I use a serum at night from Kiehls’ called Midnight Recovery Concentrate. This serum is hands down my favorite because it makes my skin look fresh when I wake up. Also it keeps my skin hydrated through the night.

Step Three:

Step Four:

I finish my nighttime skin routine by using Cetaphil’s Moisturizing Lotion.
